Our farm chalet is one of the  most beautiful wedding venues for a ceremony and reception. With an elegant country atmosphere, a meal prepared with our own fresh vegetables, and friendly service, your wedding can be everything you imagined and more.

With an ambiance of natural beauty and elegant design, our farm is the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable ceremony and reception.

Our chalet was created to provide an opportunity to serve the freshest, tastiest, homegrown food to you and your guests. Whether you would like a formal hot meal served to you and your guests, or a country-style buffet bbq, or a cocktail event with finger foods, our goal is to exceed your expectations!

Ceremony Options,

Outdoor Ceremony: $6 per guest (includes chair rental). 

Rainy day alternative: indoors in the reception area (requires two hours between ceremony and reception). 

With a Tent: $20 per guest  (includes chair rental and tent rental incase of rain).

Indoors; $6 per guest (includes chair rental). 

If you would like the chairs setup in rows with no tables, please allow for two hours between ceremony and reception for the room to be redressed for the reception.

Organic mixed greens with tomato, cucumber, julienned bell peppers carrot, chef's choice of dressing.

Spinach Salad

Fresh spinach, toasted almonds, strawberry garnish, served with a Raspberry Vinaigrette.

Ginger Turmeric Carrot Soup

This flavourful soup is vibrant, spicy, and sweet  (Spring)

Creamy Spinach Soup

The lovely, leafy spinach in this recipe makes for a flavourful and intriguing bright-green soup. Fresh cream and herbs make this soup a crowd pleaser. (Summer)

Tomato Basil Bisque

This smooth tomato puree is seasoned and simmered with savory vegetables in a creamy vegetarian broth and is highlighted with basil, fennel, and sweet cream. (Fall)

Butternut Squash Soup 

This soup features pureed butternut squash, carrot and onion, and it showcases the rich, sweet flavor of the squash. (Winter)

Tomato Bruschetta

Farm fresh tomatoes are diced and mixed with herbs and spices, and they are served on top of garlic seared ciabatta brad. Vegetarian. Vegan. 

Bacon Wrapped Scallops 

Maple-glazed fresh Atlantic sea scallops are wrapped in a crispy, smoked bacon. Gluten free.

Lamb Sausage

A selection of fresh herbs and spices make this tasty sausage a huge hit. Served with a partridgeberry compote. 

Mini Quiche (available in various flavours)

Quiche Lorraine

Smoked bacon and Swiss cheese is surrounded with an egg mixture that fills bite-sized tart shells.

Quiche Florentine

Ham, three cheeses, spinach, onions, and all sorts of herbs and spices make this quiche a great hit with everyone. 

Mushroom and Cheese Quiche

Creamy mushroom-studded filling is topped with a sharp layer of cheddar cheese and is combined with a silky egg mixture and served in a bite-sized tart shell. Vegetarian. 

Pepper and Hummus

Fresh red and yellow greenhouse bell peppers sliced and served with hummus. Gluten Free. Vegetarian. Vegan.

Main Course Options

1. Maple Salmon or Newfoundland Traditional Stuffed Chicken Breast
Served with roasted potatoes, steamed vegetables, and a fresh dinner roll.

2. Our own Turkey or Roast Beef                                                                   Served with carrot, mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, and a fresh dinner roll. 

3. Fresh Atlantic Lemon Baked Cod or Stuffed Pork Tenderloin with Caramelized Pineapple and Onions                                                              Served with roasted or mashed potato, steamed vegetables, and a fresh dinner roll.

4.A Hip of Beef (Served Buffet Line)                                                                       Served with carrots, green beans, roasted potatoes, and a fresh dinner roll.

5. Farmer Jim's Rotisserie Pig Roast                                                               Served with Caesar salad and/or garden salad, steamed vegetables, roasted potatoes, mushrooms & onions, applesauce, and sour cream.

6. BBQ Chicken Breast, Ribs, or Striploin Steak                                       Served with garden salad and/or Caesar salad, sauteed peppers, onions, and mushrooms, roasted potato, and a fresh dinner roll.

All meals have the option of a vegetable stir fry for vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-free guests

Chicken Satay with Spicy Peanut Thai Sauce,

Fresh chicken thighs skewered and marinated with a sweet and spicy peanut Thai sauce, cooked to perfection, and served with peanut Thai dipping sauce. Gluten free.

The strong flavour of blue cheese mellows when baked in this buttery phyllo pastry. Toasted walnuts and bold arugula make this bite-sized phyllo a crowd pleaser. Vegetarian.

Feta, Spinach, and Red Pepper

Feta cheese and Romano cheese mixed with fresh spinach and grilled red pepper, enveloped in a crispy phyllo pastry make this phyllo a favourite. Vegetarian.

Brie and Red Pepper

Soft warm Brie covered in a delicate phyllo wrap baked to perfection and served with a warm red pepper jelly Vegetarian.

Spanakopita

This is an authentic, really rich appetizer stuffed with spinach, onions, feta cheese, and herbs that are all enfolded by crispy, flaky phyllo dough. Vegetarian.

Crostini with Smoked Salmon and Dill Cream Cheese topped with Capers

The combination of smoked salmon, dill, and capers creates a savoury bite that the crowd will enjoy. 

Crostini with Roasted Pepper Spread and Prosciutto

The saltiness of prosciutto combined with roasted pepper spread make this crostini an amazing bite to enjoy.

Tea & coffee are both available at a self-serve station

We are fully licensed by the Newfoundland Liquor Corporation we have a cash bar available.

Depending on the number of guests, we will have 1-4 bar tenders onsite. 

 If  you would like to book complimentary wine or drinks for your guests there are several options:

1. Drink tickets can be purchased by the host and given to guests. Each drink ticket is $5.50, The tickets can be redeemed for single drinks, high balls, domestic beer. 

2. Open bar can be arranged for a certain time period or amount. 

3. Self-serve Wine Station where glasses of wine, both red and white, are placed out on a table and are monitored by the bar. Corkage fee is 150% of the total cost of the wine. This works great if you are planning on purchasing boxed wine. You may choose Jackson Triggs Merlot or Jackson Triggs Pinot Grigio.

4. Wine Bottles on the Table is also another option.  Jackson Triggs Merlot or Pinot Grigio cost $29 per bottle (750ml).

5. Soda Bar is where the host pays for all non- alcoholic drinks

6. Toonie Bar is where the host pays for the remaining balance. For example, guests only pay $2 per drink and the host pays $4/$5 per drink. 


Pricing

Price per guest is as follows:

50-74 people- $48.99 per person plus HST and gratuity (15%) 

75-99 people- $44.99 per person plus HST and gratuity (15%) 

100+ people- 42.99 per person plus HST  and gratuity (15%)

  

Included in the price per guest is the following:
      - Meal consisting of appetizer, main course, &     dessert   

      - Tea and coffee 

      - Glassware, cutlery, and flatware rental  

      - Chairs and tables (Reception only)

     - Bartending fees

       - Cake cutting fees

     
Venue charge of $1500.00 for 2:00 pm-1:00 am 

Any time prior to 2:00 pm for setup or guest arrival is charged at $125 per hour.

There is no fee for the ceremony except rental of the chairs (including set up and takedown), and the cost is $3.75 per chair

*Minimum charge of 50 Guests(Monday-Wednesday), 75 Guests (Thursday), 100 guests(Friday), 125 Guests(Saturday) *

Additional Information

Upon booking we require a $1500.00 non-refundable deposit to confirm your booking and date.

Any outside food vendors (e.g., candy table, chocolate fountain) are an additional fee of $75 each.

Meal choices are required 14 days prior to your event.

Exact numbers must be given 14 days prior.
Event must be paid in full 14 days prior.

If no exact numbers are given 14 days prior to event, the number given upon booking will be confirmed and be charged to a valid credit card given.

Upon cancellation, deposit is nonrefundable.

Cancellation between 3 to 6 months prior to event will result in a charge of 50% of estimated cost.


If cancellation occurs within the month of the event, a charge of 100% of estimated cost will 
be charged to the valid credit card.


Any unpaid drinks, extra meals, or additional fees will be charged to the valid credit card.
