Our farm chalet is one of the most beautiful wedding venues for a ceremony and reception. With an elegant country atmosphere, a meal prepared with our own fresh vegetables, and friendly service, your wedding can be everything you've ever imagined and more.

With an ambiance of natural beauty and elegant design, our farm is the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable wedding.

The chalet was created to provide an opportunity to serve the freshest, tastiest, homegrown food to you and your guests. Whether you would like a formal hot meal served to you and your guests, a country-style buffet BBQ, or a cocktail event with finger foods, our goal is to exceed your expectations.

 

Ceremony Options 

Outdoor Ceremony: $6 per guest (includes chair rental)

Rainy Day Alternative: Indoors in the reception area (requires two hours between ceremony and reception) $6 per guest (includes chair rental)

1. Fresh Salad

Spring Garden SaladOrganic mixed greens with tomato, cucumber, julienned bell peppers carrot, chef's choice of dressing.

Spinach SaladFresh spinach, toasted almonds, strawberry garnish, served with a raspberry vinaigrette.

Farm Fresh Soups made with all fresh produce.

Ginger Turmeric Carrot Soup: This flavorful soup is vibrant, spicy, and sweet. (Spring)

Creamy Spinach Soup: The lovely, leafy spinach in this recipe makes for a flavorful and intriguing bright-green soup. Fresh cream and herbs make this soup a crowd pleaser. (Summer)

Tomato Basil BisqueThis smooth tomato puree is seasoned and simmered with savory vegetables in a creamy vegetarian broth and is highlighted with basil, fennel, and sweet cream. (Fall)

Butternut Squash SoupThis soup features pureed butternut squash, carrot and onion, and it showcases the rich, sweet flavor of the squash. (Winter)

Tomato BruschettaFarm fresh tomatoes are diced and mixed with herbs and spices, and they are served on top of garlic seared ciabatta brad. (Vegetarian/vegan)

Bacon Wrapped Scallops: Maple-glazed fresh Atlantic sea scallops are wrapped in crispy, smoked bacon. (Gluten free)

Lamb SausageA selection of fresh herbs and spices make this tasty sausage a huge hit. Served with a partridge berry compote. 

Mini QuicheAvailable in various flavors.

Quiche LorraineSmoked bacon and Swiss cheese is surrounded with an egg mixture that fills bite-sized tart shells.

Quiche FlorentineHam, three cheeses, spinach, onions, and all sorts of herbs and spices make this quiche a great hit with everyone. 

Mushroom and Cheese QuicheCreamy mushroom-studded filling is topped with a sharp layer of cheddar cheese and is combined with a silky egg mixture and served in a bite-sized tart shell. (Vegetarian)

Pepper and Hummus: Fresh red and yellow greenhouse bell peppers sliced and served with hummus. (Gluten free, vegetarian/vegan)

Bar Services

Singles and Beer: $6.00

Wines and Imports: $7.00

If  you would like to book complimentary wine or drinks for your guests there are several options:

  • Drink tickets can be purchased by the host and given to guests. Each drink ticket is $5.25, The tickets can be redeemed for single drinks, high balls, or domestic beer. 
  • Open bar can be arranged for a certain time period or amount. 
  • Self-serve wine station where glasses of wine, both red and white, are placed out on a table and are monitored by the bar. Corkage fee is 150% of the total cost of the wine. This works great if you are planning on purchasing boxed wine. 
  • Wine bottles on the table  Jackson Triggs Merlot or Pinot Grigio cost $29 per bottle (750ml).
  • Soda bar is where the host pays for all non- alcoholic drinks
  • Toonie bar is where the host pays for the remaining balance. For example, guests only pay $2 per drink and the host pays $4/$5 per drink. 

NOTE: Lester's Farm Chalet is fully licensed by the Newfoundland Liquor Corporation. Depending on the number of guests, we will have 1-4 bar tenders onsite. Absoultely no alcohol is to be brought onsite.
