🎁Children's Birthday Parties

We offer birthday parties ALL YEAR round!

Birthdays are a cherished time; a chance to create lasting memories with family and friends. We aim to make your child feel very special, after all, it’s their birthday! We offer a mix of fun, farm related activities that are enjoyable for children ages 1-10.



Spring, Summer, Fall Birthday Parties: During the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons, we host the first hour and a half of your birthday party. Your own personal host/hostess will lead the children on a tour of the petting barn where the group will get to see and feed a variety of different farm animals. The birthday child will be given the opportunity to collect eggs from the chicken coop, pick up the baby animals, and even groom the miniature donkey! Next, each child will journey on a wagon ride throughout the farm. On the wagon ride, the guests will get to visit the larger animals like the horses and cows. The children will return to the birthday party picnic area where they will wash their hands and get ready for their meal and cake.

Winter Birthday Parties: The first hour of Winter birthday parties will consist of a horse-drawn sleigh ride pulled by our two Percheron horses, Mike and Molly. Children will then be given the opportunity to explore the petting barn, where they will interact with farm animals such as goats, rabbits, chickens, pigs, and a donkey! Everyone will then return to the birthday room inside the chalet, where children will decorate sugar cookies, have their meal, and cake.

Please be advised: To ensure sleigh capacity is not exceeded, the maximum number of children per birthday party is 16.


Meal Choices:

  • Pizza
  • Chicken Nuggets and French Fries
  • Macaroni and Cheese
  • Pancakes with Bacon

*Coffee and tea is provided for adults attending party.


Pricing:

 - For the petting barn tour, wagon ride, pony ride, and meal:  Minimum payment is required upon booking (Minimum charge 16 children $380.00 + HST & gratuity) 

- Meals include one of the choices listed above, plates, cups, cutlery, napkins, juice (apple or orange), and coffee/tea for adults.

*Additional charges for extra guests is to be paid the day of the party ($18.75 plus HST and gratuity per child).


Bringing Items from Outside:

We allow items such as sandwich, vegetable, and fruit trays to be brought along for parents/other guests, as long as they come from another licensed venue (i.e. Bidgoods, Sobeys). You are responsible for bringing any plates, napkins, and utensils for the food you provide.

*We do allow homemade items such as cake, cupcakes, cookies.


Invitations/Decorations:

We kindly ask that guests please arrive and depart the farm at scheduled times. Everyone will meet inside our Farm Chalet where you will be greeted by your hostess/host.

You can bring in some table decorations (center pieces, table runners, table cloths, etc). We do not permit any wall/ceiling decorations, or any confetti. Helium balloons must stay inside the chalet where they are to be secured to a table weight. All decorations must be brought the day of the party, at your scheduled party time.

Weather:

If it happens to rain the day of the event, we do still go ahead with the farm tour. We suggest to dress for the weather. We do have indoor activities in case of harsh and extreme weather, such as:
  • Hot chocolate and cookies
  • Farm crafts
  • Colouring sheets
Our barn is fully enclosed, as is the party eating area.


Commonly Forgotten Items:

  • Knife and cutlery for the cake
  • Lighter/candles
  • Cake
  • Extra camera batteries


Please make sure to enjoy the party with your guests! Your hostess/host will gladly take care of the set up and clean up for your party.
